Electric Wire Products takes pride in its quality assurance system and performance. Extreme measures are taken to insure that every product is made right the first time and will perform as intended when installed on your equipment.  Each harness is thoroughly checked for correct electrical continuity and orientation, and as well as visually inspected to insure against missing or nonconforming parts.

Quality performance is measured throughout our product realization process, with monthly and annual continuous improvement goals and performance posted for each department.

Each new product or revision moves through the following steps to insure that our customers receive product as specified:

1. EWP engineers review each customer’s specifications to insure there are no opportunities for   misunderstanding.
    

2.   EWP work instructions are checked to the customer’s blueprint for accuracy.
    

3. A First Article Inspection is performed to insure that the finished product meets customer specifications and EWP work instructions.
    

4. Each time a repetitive part is released, a second First Article Inspection is performed to insure that production set-ups are correct.

Additional quality assurance measures are in place throughout the production, inspection, and shipment processes, including:

·        Cross checking of each operation to order specifications and tolerances.

·        Electric check board inspection prior to each production release to insure that the checking system functions properly.

·        Daily inspection of electric check boards for damage or malfunction.

·        Harnesses labels that include release date and quantity, as well as operator and inspection identification information for tracking the occurrence and source of errors.

·        Packaging labels and bar codes cross checked to insure conformance to shipping documents and customer purchase orders.

·        Regular testing of operators to insure critical job knowledge and understanding.

·        A corrective action system designed to eliminate the root source of errors.
